Industry veteran Dorothy van Lingen joins Rubric

Rubric, a leading localization services provider to Information Technology companies, announced the appointment of Dorothy van Lingen as Director of Business Development for the mid-Atlantic and southeast US regions. In this role, van Lingen is responsible for formulating business development strategies, building Rubric's client base, and overseeing customer relations in these regions.

Formerly holding titles of Director of Sales and Director of Translation and Interpreting at firms in the localization and translation industry, van Lingen brings thirteen years of experience in the industry to her position with Rubric. van Lingen is a graduate of Bentley College with a Masters of Business Administration concentrating in International Business. Beginning with her undergraduate degree in Spanish, throughout her career she has pursued the study of languages including Greek, Italian, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese and Arabic.
Rubric has grown steadily since its inception in 1994. In 1997 the company opened its first US office, and its US customer base has increased dramatically since that time. Under van Lingen's stewardship, Rubric is anticipating substantial growth in the mid-Atlantic and southeast US regions in the coming years.
