RUBRIC CONTINUES STRONG GROWTH; STRENGTHENS INFRASTRUCTURE

Monday, March 13, 2000

After experiencing tremendous revenue growth in 1999, Rubric continues to expand and strengthen its infrastructure. In order to sustain its superior levels of quality into the future, Rubric is in the process of doubling the size of its engineering and QA departments. In addition, new product managers and desktop publishers are being brought on board, and in-country translation teams are being expanded.

The current hiring campaign is part of an overall, systemic approach to building the company's overall capacity to satisfy the constantly expanding requirements of its list of blue-chip Internet, software and hardware company clients. The campaign is a sequential step after the hiring of a new production manager, who came to Rubric from Adobe Systems.

Integral to the expanded capacity, Rubric will be opening several additional offices in various countries in the coming months. Work on the new offices is already under way.

"We are excited by the prospects of the company," states Françoise Spurling, Director of Production at Rubric, "and we are committed to strengthening our infrastructure to support our clients' ever-growing localization needs. By proactively securing top-notch talent, and by increasing our production sites, we are striving to provide fully scalable and reliable localization solutions for our clients into the future."

Complementary to the infrastructure-building, Rubric is also launching an upgraded, comprehensive QA-integration and testing process. "We have always been focused on providing QA-integration throughout the entire localization lifecycle," states Spurling. "Our upgraded process adds an even more robust layer of up-front, localization-readiness verification, technology-integration, as well as final QA and testing. We believe that clients will outsource more and more of their localization requirements while continuing to reduce time-to-market. Our focus on further building a solid localization infrastructure, along with enriching our QA offerings, will enable us to support their quickening pace of globalization."
