Rubric, a leading localization services provider to Information Technology (IT) companies, announced that it has achieved its 5th consecutive year of double-digit profitability. Net revenue as well as net income for fiscal 1999 reached record levels.
"We are highly pleased with the financial results for 1999," stated Tom Shapiro, VP of Sales & Marketing at Rubric. "The excellent performance resulted from growth with both existing customer accounts as well as new accounts. I believe that our track-record is proof of the sustainability of our business model and approach to localization."
Major growth occurred in the areas of enterprise, e-business and Internet applications. Much of this included UNIX localization, as well as localization of Web technologies such as ASP, HTML, DHTML, SGML, Java, JavaScript, and Flash. Other areas contributing to the growth included packaged software and telephony solutions.
Rubric attributes the success of its business model to its highly refined Streamliner localization methodology. The methodology leads to highly efficient, reliable, scalable and sustainable localization through a product's many upgrade cycles.
