Rubric, a localization services provider to Information Technology companies, announced that it has upgraded the Rubric UI Wizard with the development of rcTranslate. The technologies are used by Rubric's localization teams in enhancing the localization process for its customers' software products.
Rubric UI Wizard expedites the localization of software files by preprocessing files for translators, enabling WYSIWYG editing of resource files without the complete build environment, maintaining code integrity, identifying hot-key conflicts, out-of-order variables, undersized elements and version control issues, and performing spelling and punctuation checks. rcTranslate expedites the localization of user interfaces through integration with a company's existing glossaries, or with industry-standard glossaries such as the MSDN glossaries. It can also integrate with standard translation memory (TM) solutions, such as TRADOS Translator's Workbench/MultiTerm to extend the QA aspects of using TM solutions.
