Rubric translates our client's products into more than 30 languages. Because of our growing volume of work, Rubric is always looking for highly qualified professional translators. We offer challenging and rewarding contract positions that for the right people will develop into full-time work.

To be considered as a candidate, you must also be skilled in writing for publications in your native language. Preference is given to candidates with expertise in a technical field such as software, telecommunications, life sciences, or medicine.

Specific requirements:

Minimum 2 years' professional translation experience
Native speaker of the target language
Ability to process large volumes under tight deadlines
Ability to follow file-management procedures
Experience with publishing applications such as Framemaker or MS Word
Experience with translation tools such as TRADOS
Strong communication skills
Subject expertise (e.g., software, telecommunications, medicine, e-business)
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
An obsession with detail
University degree
